Falling swirling

Like a leaf

With pointy ends

A maple sheaf

Of red and orange

And crispy tendrils

Wind picks up

Ever so careful

Me on a journey

I can’t look down

Or see ahead

Before me now

Others blow in

Beside and infront

Trying to get your

acknowledgement but

If for an instance

Our eyes were to meet

Gaze into yours

Then I will sleep

Forever the peace

Will envelope me

And cover your blue

To have known love so true
