Eyes of grey
The light has dimmed
You have moved on
Won’t let anyone in
Another place perhaps
Or Another time
When you’re eyes of blue
Sparkled and shined
Do not listen to them
The voices of bleak
They know not what they say
Whisper or speak
I’m sorry forgive me
For I was one too
I was in limbo
Felt abandoned by you
Now I know
You wish only to spread
The words music and love
So much more left unsaid
Smile again look up
Eyes of grey
Let’s meet in the sky
Our favourite hideway
